About Tim

Tim represents individual and corporate clients in a wide range of legal matters both in and out of court.  His practice includes representing property owners in disputed insurance claims and providing general counsel to residential and commercial construction companies.  Tim has handled numerous cases in state and federal courts across the country and has notched wins before several appellate and supreme courts.  When he is not handling cases, Tim frequently speaks across the country at conferences and events on issues of insurance and construction law.

Outside of the office, Tim is an active member in the legal community.  He is a member of multiple bar associations, a volunteer with the Minnesota Association for Justice, a member of the Iowa Association for Justice, and he volunteers on the Contractor’s Association of Minnesota’s public policy committee.  Tim is a former professor at the Mitchell Hamline School of Law, and he is currently an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota’s Insurance Law Clinic where he and his students provide pro bono legal services for families in need.
