1. Scope of Agreement

These Terms of Use (“Agreement”) govern your membership and use of the website located at americanadjusterassociation.org (the “Site”) of The American Adjuster Association, Inc. (“AAA”). By accessing the Site or being a member of the AAA, you agree to comply with this Agreement. If you do not accept the terms, do not use the Site or request membership termination.

2. Information and Passwords

You may register for a personal account to access certain features of the Site. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your user ID and password and are liable for all activities under your account. AAA does not assume liability for such use.

3. User Submissions

User content includes any text, images, videos, or other information you have submitted. By submitting content, you warrant its accuracy and that you own or have a license to the intellectual property rights. You agree not to submit harmful or infringing content. AAA reserves the right to remove or edit user content and does not guarantee its accuracy.

4. AAA Intellectual Property

AAA retains all rights to the information and content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, and trademarks. You may not use AAA content or trademarks without prior written consent. Content is for informational purposes and is not a substitute for legal advice.

5. Notification of Infringing Copyright-Protected Content

To notify AAA of alleged copyright infringement, provide a detailed written notice including identification of the copyrighted work and contact information. AAA will investigate and take appropriate action.

6. Compliance

You agree to use the Site lawfully and comply with all applicable laws. Use from outside the United States must comply with local laws.

7. Disclaimer of Warranty

AAA does not guarantee the accuracy or usefulness of the Site and provides it “as-is” without warranties. Downloading material from the Site is at your own risk.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify AAA and its affiliates from any claims arising from your use of the Site or violation of this Agreement.

9. Limitation of Liability

AAA is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Site.

10. Termination

AAA may suspend access to the Site and remove content if you violate this Agreement or Code of Ethics. Suspension and/or removal of membership is managed on a case-by-case basis in accordance with the bylaws of the organization.

11. Relationship

Use of the Site does not create an employment, agency, or partnership relationship with AAA.

12. Waiver

Failure to enforce any rights under this Agreement does not waive those rights.

13. Other Agreements

This Agreement is subject to any other agreements with AAA. Conflicts are governed by the other agreements.

14. Additional Terms

Some sections of the Site may have additional terms. Conflicts are governed by those terms.

15. Severability

Invalid provisions of this Agreement do not affect the remaining provisions.

16. Modification

AAA may modify this Agreement at any time. Check periodically for changes.

17. Section Headings

Headings are for convenience and do not affect interpretation.

18. Effect

This Agreement binds and benefits the parties and their successors.

19. Billing Agreement

By signing up for a paid membership, you authorize AAA to charge your payment method. Memberships are non-refundable. To cancel, email us with at least 14 days’ notice before your next billing period.

20. Membership Directory

The directory is for informational use only by AAA Members and Board Advisors. Do not distribute information for marketing purposes.
